What stays in your browser

The extension reads the posts X shows you so it can sort and fold them. Your settings, your lens, your routes, the list of accounts flagged as ads or adult spam, recent judgments, and the log of routed posts are kept in your browser's extension storage. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the extension deletes them.

What is sent to judge posts

To judge a post, the extension sends its text and your lens questions to our server at polishx.ai, which forwards them to Jev, a model run by TypeSafe (typesafe.ai), and returns the answer. We do not store the post or the answer. Our server records only how many posts you judged each day, to apply your plan's limit.

If you ask PolishX to draft a lens for you, the extension collects your bio, recent bookmarks, likes, and the accounts you follow, and sends them once to our server. A model on Cloudflare Workers AI drafts the lens from them. We do not store what was sent or the draft; the draft comes back to your browser.

Routes you set up

A route sends matching posts to a destination you choose, such as a webhook. Those posts go from your browser straight to that destination, under its own terms. We do not see them.

Your account

You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and keep them with your account so you can sign in and we can tell you apart. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google data. The extension does not need to know which X account you use and does not record it.

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details; we keep your subscription status and Stripe customer id, never your card number.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist we keep your email address, where you signed up, what you told us you want first, and your referral code, so we can invite you and keep your waitlist price.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data to train models. We do not share it except with the services named above, which process it to run PolishX: Cloudflare (hosting and Workers AI), Convex (our database), TypeSafe (Jev), Google (sign-in) and Stripe (billing).

Deleting your data

Email hello@celados.com from the address on your account or the waitlist and we will delete your account, usage records and waitlist entry. Stripe keeps billing records it is required to keep by law.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. We will email account holders before any change that uses data in a new way.
